The story of the brand Berdoues


Since its creation, Berdoues’ talent lies in knowing how to reinvent itself to withstand the test of times.

Passionate about perfumery and cosmetics, the Berdoues family created in 1902 its eponymous brand whose savoir-faire has been passed on through four generations. For the past 100 years, the brand has created, innovated and united around its passion.

1902

Guillaume Berdoues, a barber and hairdresser, creates an amber eau de cologne to perfect his client’s shaves and opens a perfumery located at 15 rue Lafayette in Toulouse. The adventure begins!

1936

Henri, the second-generation perfumer, creates the Violette de Toulouse that will forever mark the Maison. It’s the beginning of a new flourishing era!

1970

Pierre Berdoues, the third generation heir, reveals the 1902 collection in homage to the date of the perfumery brand’s creation. An authentic and generous world of scents, perfumes and care products

2015

An invitation to travel with the Grands Crus Collection, Sophie Berdoues, the fourth generation heir, unites the respect for the family heritage and her creative sensibility to inspire a new colorful, free and singular world.
